Elderly Centre Visit 2013 – ‘Poon Choi’ Feast for the Elderly

BMI Appraisals Limited (“BMIA”) is dedicated to caring the minority of the society and actively participates in the community services. On 26 January 2013, we visited the ELCHK Shatin Multi-Service Centre for the Elderly again.

BMIA hosted an event called “‘Poon Choi’ Feast for the Elderly” for over 60 seniors before the Chinese New Year. We all gathered to enjoy a festive lunch together in order to welcome the Year of Snake. Apart from the ‘Poon Choi’ feast, we had prepared festive gift packs presenting our warmest greetings and blessings to the elderly. The elderly volunteers also prepared a singing performance with sign language as thanks for us. It brings the event to a climax.

Over the years, despite the elderly centre visit, BMIA has constantly participated and made donations to support the non-profit making charitable organizations, such as the Hong Kong Red Cross, Hong Kong Association for Cleft Lip and Palate, Heep Hong Society, Volunteer Space and so on.

In the future, BMIA will continue to promote the social activities and caring of the minority of the society.
