The Sustainability Impact Awards Ceremony 2023 was held on July 6, in view to recognize the extraordinary efforts of corporates toward sustainable development and the UN-SDGs. It is of great pleasure to have Mr. Daniel Shih, Vice Chairman of LionRock Capital Hong Kong, former Chairman of PepsiCo Greater China, to be the Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guest speakers included Mr. Dominic Yin, Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Energy Service Companies, and Mr. Robert Chua Wah Peng, former TV program producer in TVB, also shared their valuable insights on sustainability. Corporate awardees included Chinachem Group, Innovax Holdings, Zhong Ao Home Group and other local and foreign companies.
This event was organized by Social Impact Investment Foundation. The organization is dedicated to supporting the achievement of UN-SDGs through funding projects that contribute to the well-being of the community and environment. The Vice-Chairman of the foundation, our Managing Director Dr. Tony Cheng also shared his knowledge on the UNDP SDG Impact Standards, as well as his valuable experiences in incorporating the UN-SDGs in corporates’ ESG strategies and reports.
The UN-SDGs are globally agreed targets toward achieving sustainable development. They are a common language in acknowledging contributions toward sustainability and can be an advantage for corporates which are planning for cross border development.
